Welcome to Happy Human Mushroom Co., where transparency, integrity, and passion for functional mushrooms are at the heart of everything we do. Our story began out of frustration—frustration with a market flooded with low-quality mushroom supplements and deceptive labeling. As avid consumers of functional mushrooms ourselves, we were shocked to discover that a study revealed only 5 out of 19 popular Reishi mushroom supplements actually contained real mushrooms. That’s when we knew something had to change.

Our Story
Happy Human Mushroom Co. was founded by Alaina Devenney-Copico, a mushroom enthusiast with a background in nutrition and, most proudly, a mom. It was her transition into motherhood that fueled her dedication to functional mushrooms. Knowing she’d need support for energy, sleep, immune health, and mental clarity postpartum, Alaina turned to the mushrooms she had long trusted—and they delivered. Her experience inspired her to create a brand that not only provides effective products but also advocates for higher standards in the industry.
